The managing director / CEO of Mr. Dennis Tan Soo Huang, graduate with Diploma in Mechanical Engineering & external exam on AMSE (London) and has more than 37 years experience in the field of Water, Waste Water and Groundwater Engineering Work. Prior to this he had received extensive training in Japan whilst attached to a leading international Japanese water specialist company in Kuala Lumpur. He was the Secretary General (2014 - 2018) of Master Builders Association Malaysia (MBAM). He was the chairman of the Environmental Committee of MBAM for the last 4 terms and Council member for 5 terms. He is currently the Vice President of MBAM.

Since founding OCNED WATER TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD in 1993, he had been involved hand-on in more than 300 Sewerage Treatment Plant, Pumping Station, both big and small including Centre Sewage Treatment Plant for Cyberjaya, Proton City, Nusajaya, Mines Resort to name a few from tendering, planning, design to implementation and construction and hand-over. He has also completed over 1,000 ground water well in Malaysia.

He has been an active member of Vistage, a private advisory boards for CEO’s since 2004. A keen golfer who often represent MBAM for inter association game. Dennis was named CEO of the Year at the Malaysia Construction Industry Excellence Awards (MCIEA 2019) organized by the Construction Industry Development Board Malaysia (CIDB).

Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ir. Lim Chow Hock was the President of The Institution of Engineers, Malaysia (IEM) from 2014 to 2016. He holds a B.Eng. (Hons) (Civil) degree from the University of Malaya and a postgraduate diploma in Water Resources Engineering from the University of Birmingham. He has been elected as a Fellow of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia.

Prior to being elected as the President of the Institution, he had served IEM in various capacities including as Deputy President, Vice President, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Finance, Chairman of the Standing Committee on Corporate Affairs, Deputy Chairman of the Standing Committee on Welfare and Service Matters and member of several other Standing Committees, Subcommittees and Technical Divisions. He had also served as the Chairman of the APEC/International PE Registers as well as the Secretary General and Chairman of the ASEAN Federation of Engineering Organisations (AFEO). He was the Chairman of the IEM Southern Branch from 1991 to 1993.

Since his graduation in 1978, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ir. Lim Chow Hock had served in the Department of Irrigation and Drainage Malaysia (DID). He retired in June 2014 after serving for 36 years in the government. He has extensive experience in the field of irrigation, agricultural drainage, peatland management, flood mitigation, urban stormwater management, river engineering, coastal zone management, hydrology and water resources management. He had served in many states in various capacities throughout his career; at the district level, project, state and headquarters offices. He had also served as the State Director of DID Kelantan as well as the Senior Director (Management) of DID Malaysia.

In his previous roles at DID, he was responsible for all programmes and initiatives associated with Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM), Integrated River Basin Management (IRBM) and Integrated Coastal Zone Management (ICZM). He was involved in some major projects such as the Western Johor Integrated Agricultural Development Project, the SMART Project, the River of Life Project, the Pahang River Mouth Breakwaters and the Tok Jembal Beach Nourishment Project in Terengganu.

He is currently the Chairman of the Malaysian Capacity Development Network (MyCDNet) which is affiliated to Cap-Net UNDP. He is a member of several other professional associations including the Malaysian Institute of Management, the Malaysian Stormwater Organisation, the Malaysian Water Partnership, the Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research, and the Malaysian Coastal Reservoir Association. He is a Certified Auditor for Quality Management System registered with the Malaysia Register of Chartered Auditors (MRCA) and also a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control (CPESC). He is a member of the Board of Management for the Global Environment Centre (GEC). He has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor with the University of Malaya and he also sits in the Board of Governors for the Infrastructure University Kuala Lumpur.

Dato’ Ir. Lim is currently serving as a Commissioner with the National Water Services Commission (SPAN) and as a Technical Advisor to the State Government of Penang on matters related to flooding and water management.

Y.Bhg. Dato’ Ir. Lim received the “Pingat Sultan Ismail” award from Johor in 2001. In 2008, he received the “Dato' Paduka Setia Mahkota Kelantan” (D.P.S.K.) which carries the title “Dato” from His Majesty Al-Sultan of Kelantan.

Ms. Adeline Chan Siew San graduate with Bachelor of Environmental Science in Universiti Malaysia Sabah. She has more than 20 years of experience in the field of wastewater engineering. Having spent many years in wastewater engineering field, Adeline has broad expertise, knowledge and extensive experience involving in process design, procurement, project planning and construction in various sewage treatment system, pumping station, leachate treatment plant and sewerline projects such as Centralized STP at Lot 130 Banting, 300,000PE Centralized STP “A” in Cyberjaya, 150,000PE STP at Forest City in Johor Bahru, 90,000PE STP for I&P Alam Impian, 38,222PE STP I and 33,333PE STP 2 and 5 nos Pump Station for Camp Facilities for Petronas Refinery & Petrochemical Sdn Bhd in Pengerang, 28,000PE STP at Tanjung Puteri for R&F Development Sdn Bhd, 24,000PE STP for ECERDC Kuala Terengganu, 23,333PE Module III STP for OSK, 20,000PE Module STP for Eco Forest, 1,000m3/day Leachate Treatment Plant in Bukit Tagar, Sludge Treatment Facilities at Tanah Hitam, 5,700PE MBR STP at The Exchange 106 for Mulia Development Sdn Bhd, Sewerline Projects for LRT3 and 3 nos of Pump Station for WCT Construction Sdn Bhd, Sewerline Project for MRT S203 for IJM Construction Sdn Bhd, Water Filtration System and STP & Pump Station at Petronas Learning Centre in Bangi for Sunway Construction Sdn Bhd, SSTS projects for West Coast Toll Plaza for IJMC, Sewerline Project at Forest City for Country Garden Pacificview Sdn Bhd, Vacuum Pump System for Expansion of Water Supply in Kampong Thom (Cambodia) for Kubota Construction Co. In addition, she is also the team lead of Purchasing and Marketing Department and advising the Contract Department on various contractual matters from project proposal till project being awarded and continue until completion of construction and handover.

Adeline is a certified Graduate Technologist (Green Technology) by Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT) since 2018.

Encik Mohamad Hairi Bin Basri graduate with Bachelor of Engineering (Chemical) from University of Malaya in 1994. He has more than 26 years working experience in the water industry after starting his career in 1994. Since then he has been involved in the water and wastewater industry in various forms.

For the initial 12 years of his career, he had gained experience and exposure in industrial wastewater treatment, ultra pure water, sewage treatment, ground water and water treatment in various capacities; from testing and commissioning, operation and maintenance, construction, process design, procurement and project planning. His signature project was 1.2 million PE Jelutong STP which he was the process manager from project proposal to project being awarded and continued until the process design approved by authority.

He previously served the following companies namely Ranhill Holdings Bhd, Aquatrans Sdn Bhd (a UEM group of companies), Earth Tech (M) Sdn Bhd, WWE Holdings Bhd, Nishihara (M) Sdn Bhd, GTS Contractor Sdn Bhd and Shin Etsu (M) Sdn Bhd.

In addition, and since 2006, he has been actively involved with the Malaysian Water Association (MWA) and currently serves as its Council Member for 2017/2019 session. He previously served MWA as its Honorary Secretary General for 2015/2017, 2011/2013 and 2009/2011sessions. He also represented MWA in regional events in Australia, Japan, Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and Singapore.

He is also currently serving as Executive Committee in My Water Partnership (MyWP) for 2017/2019 session. MyWP is focusing in promoting the implementation of integrated water resources management (IWRM) in Malaysia.
